About Andy Taurins,:

Mr. Taurins is Co-Principal of Lantana Oil & Gas Partners, a leading energy divestment and advisory firm in Houston, Texas. Founded in 2003 with partner David Nini, Lantana has sold over $1 Billion in assets throughout the U.S. Currently, Mr. Taurins is overseeing approximately $1 Billion in active asset divestments this year alone. Andy gained extensive knowledge of the Woodbine Formation while transacting the Petromax Operating sale to Woodbine Acquisition Corp. for $260 million in 2011, among other Woodbine area divestments.

Prior to founding Lantana, Andy worked with Waterous & Co. leading over $800 million in asset and corporate sales for a variety of companies from small privately-owned companies to large publicly traded companies with a geographical focus in the Gulf Coast, Permian Basin, San Juan Basin, and the Mid-Continent area. Mr. Taurins spent several years performing reserves evaluation work for Tenneco Energy and Agip Petroleum. Andy received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 1990 and is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Houston Producers Forum, and ADAM-Houston (Acquisitions, Divestitures And Mergers).
